Last night, I celebrated my 24th birthday with most of my friends from the Basque Country. Some key people were missing such as Marta, Javi, and Sandra, but luckily Ibai (one of my awesome roommates) could make it back from Pamplona after his soccer match for the festivities!
The evening started in Eva's house where she planned a very delicious dinner for all. We stayed there for quite awhile enjoying some drinks and plenty of good food and dessert. The girls got together with Aitor and got me a wonderful spa-themed present, which was very nice of them. Then, around 1:30am we headed to Sopelana to enjoy my favorite clubs that line the beach. They're my favorite because the landscape is beautiful, the music is always good, and it's a more relaxed environment. It really was a great night, and I was so happy I got to celebrate my birthday with most of my Basque friends. I'm going to miss them next year.
